Rayén Jara Mitrovich

Rayén is a Chilean artist, activist and researcher, and co-founder of Radical Data, a collective that uses data and develops tools for resistance and alternative futures. With a background in contemporary dance and community-oriented projects, they explore how technology, intimacy and bodies influence and shape each other. After more than ten years of working on artistic projects with communities — including indigenous communities in remote areas of Chile, young people in detention, children in social care and women who have experienced violence — Rayén co-founded Radical Data to explore the possibilities of technology for connection, intimacy and social transformation.
